GTA IV IS TRAINING OUR KIDS TO KILL
Recently on CNN Glenn Beck has stated that Gta IV is training our kids to kill. He is also quoted as saying “It took 75 years and countless billions of dollars to train our soldiers to kill. Today 60 bucks buys your kid the same thing. Whatever happened to Pong?”
Well Mr. Beck you just sold me a copy of Grand theft auto IV, because I didn’t think I would even be able to make it through boot camp on account of my physical problems. I am 5′ 3″ at 273lbs with a bad back and a gimp leg. And now for a mere 60bucks I will become an unstoppable killing machine. AWESOME!
Now that the media and politicians are shedding light for the first time ever in video game history on the dangerous influence these games have on our youth, I Kingbernardino want the games that are a truly bad influence on society to be taken off the market. Yes thats right “Rockband”, how many times has a childs life been ruined because Music/Rythym games are convincing untalented people everywhere that they have what it takes to become a musician.
It used to take years of practice and dedication to train musicians to play music flawlessly. Now kids are getting 5stars on Stairway to Heaven on expert mode in only a few weeks.

5′ 3″ when I am crouching in my ninja stance and 273lbs is in full gear, swords and technique scrolls can get heavy and hurt my back. My gimp leg does feel better now that you mention it.
There is also a lawyer that claims that GTA IV is the worst thing for children since polio. I don’t know what the current statistics are, but I think the GTA IV death toll so far is fucking ZERO!
This is simular to what happened in the 50’s with comic books. There were several people that were trying to make a name for themselves by attacking the comic industry by stating that they would corrupt our childrens minds. True that society is more fucked up than in the 50’s, but I don’t think it was comic books that did it. It was obviously due to Barbie dolls.
Society is A LOT less fucked up now than it was in the fifties…the difference is wife beating and child molesting is reported to the police now.
Also ask any minority if it was better in the 50’s than it is now. The KKK and severe racism were a real downer back then, people forget about that when they say it was better then.

I know that wasn’t Russ’s angle but people need to think about that everytime one of those religoes starts spouting how great it was back in the day.
I guess in the shelterd life that I live, I did not even think of that shit. I was thinking more of the terrorizm, meth use, and teenage pregancy type of shit. Either way, society always was and will continue to be fucked up. A video game will not change somebody into what they already weren’t susceptible to becoming in the first place.
